Have you heard of AIDA formula? AIDA stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action. This formula should be used in all your ads copy to see if they would be effective even before testing them. It can also be used for your content marketing purposes.

Attention

Grab your audience attention. The aim of everyone in an online business is to capture the attention of their audience, and you can do this with a catchy headline, a high-quality image or the way to tell your story. The best way to make sure that people would read your copy is to do something that makes them stop, think and something that would capture their attention.

Interest

Once you have your buyers attention, make sure to tell a good story to keep your audience’s interest. The best way to do this is to explain the benefits of your product or service using words, which clearly tells them why they should choose your product or service over others.

Desire

Use the right words to get your customers to long or desire for your product or service so that they would react to your call to action. Show them how your product or service would solve their problems and satisfy their needs.

Action

All your actions above like attracting your audience’s attention, keeping their interest, and finding the words that bring up a well of desire for your product or service, will pull your audience to answer your calls to action at a higher conversion rate, compared to if you had not applied the AIDA principles.

So craft out a good headline, a good story that tackles their problems, a nice attractive image and makes sure to have a call to action. Give it a try, good luck!
